Jobs For Life
The Louisville Rescue Mission is offering classes to help men and women find employment, learn God’s gift of work, receive a supportive community through mentorship, and experience life in Christ. The classes will be held at the new Jeffersonville Campus at 229 Walnut Street on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 8 weeks from 10:00 am - noon. For more information and how to serve please contact Adam Fleming at 812.914.7399.

Church Work Day
On Saturday, October 14 starting at 8:00 am - noon we will have a church work day. There is a sign-up sheet and a Project List at the Welcome Center. We need many people to help so please stop by and
sign-up. If you have any questions please contact Nick Weaver at nick.weaver@oakparkbaptist.com.

Fall Festival
Our 3rd Annual Fall Festival will be held on Saturday, October 28th from 2:00-5:00 PM. Our goal is to create a family friendly and fun atmosphere to invite our neighbors to come and enjoy so that we can build Gospel relationships. This year we have decided to include a Chili Cook-Off. So gather up your favorite chili recipes and join us in a friendly completion. We are also asking the congregation to donate candy and white pop-up tents for us to borrow. Please bring in your candy and place it in the box at the Welcome Center and sign-up for the Chili Cook-off and if you have a tent we can borrow. If you have any questions please contact Jeremy Sumner, who is the coordinator for this event, at jsumners802@gmail.com or at 812.697.2601. And remember that this is a church wide event for the whole family.
