Church Work Day

There will be a church work day this Saturday, April 8 from 8:00 am till noon.

The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering

We will be collecting the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions this Sunday, April 9, during our morning worship service. Our goal this year is $8,000. Please pray about what God is leading you as a family to give as we take the gospel all across North America and support missionaries who do so. There will be special offering envelopes in your bulletin this Sunday.

Ordination Service

This Sunday, April 9th at 5:30 pm we will have an ordination service for Cody Bishop, Ethan Graves, and Justin Smith. We hope everyone will be in attendance as we commission these men for gospel ministry.

Elders' Meetings

The next two elder meetings will be on April 12th & 26th at 8:00 PM in the church office. If you’d like to attend, please notify Pastor Mike (mike.bauslaugh@oakparkbaptist.com). Elders’ meetings are open to all members.

Good Friday Service of Prayer

This year at Oak Park we are again going to place a special emphasis on prayer and remembering on Good Friday. To prepare our hearts for Easter we’re going to host a day of church wide fasting and prayer starting on the evening of Maundy Thursday, April 13 at 7:30 pm, and concluding on April 14 with a special Good Friday Prayer Service at 6:30 pm. Please join us by signing up for a prayer time in the foyer and then joining us on Good Friday.

Easter Morning Brunch

On Easter Sunday, April 16, in lieu of Sunday School we will be having a brunch from 9:00 - 10:15 am. Please join us for a time of fellowship as we share a meal and then go to worship and celebrate the resurrection of Christ.

Forum on Child Education

Choosing the best option to educate your children can be intimidating. Oak Park will host a Forum on Child Education, April 19th 6:30-8pm to help you think through the many choices. Anyone in our community who will be making decisions for elementary, middle, or high school is welcome to attend. Our panel will be local educators and administrators who are also parents that have raised kids past their school years providing you with many different perspectives.
