Sympathy
The church would like to extend our sympathy to the following members:

  • David Breeden and his family in the death of his father on Tuesday.
  • Mollie Creel and family in the death of her grandmother.

Prayer
Join us each Sunday morning at 8:15 am starting on January 21st, in the young adult Sunday school room. We will be praying for our worship service, our church, the community around us, and the nations. 
   
Parent Commitment
As part of Sanctity of Life Sunday on January 21st, we will have our annual Parent Commitment during the service. All families who have had a child born in 2017 or have young children and joined the church in 2017 are invited to participate. Discovering Oak Park
Interested in joining Oak Park or learning more about the church? Please make plans to attend our next Discovering Oak Park, a one day class, which will be held Sunday, January 28, immediately after the worship service. Lottie Moon
Thanks to all gave to the work of international missionaries by giving to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. We collected $17,000.00.

Giving Statements and Envelopes
2017 Giving Statements are now available on CCB (Church Community Builder) - you can access your statement by logging into your account at oakpark.ccbchurch.com. A video showing how to download your statement can be found here: vimeo.com/118635010.  If you do not have access to CCB, please contact Terry Broady at the church office and we will print a paper copy for you. 
 
Due to our change in accounting software, numbered giving envelopes are no longer needed for offering checks.  If you would still like to use envelopes for your offering, please contact Beth Sumners at 812-725-4799.
