EMMANUEL BAPTIST CHURCH EAST
TORONTO CHURCH PLANT PARTNERSHIP
EBCE is a multicultural Hispanic Church, whose main audience is intended to be Hispanics. There are Spanish-speaking people from 20 different countries residing in the Greater Toronto Area, and there are people from 13 of those countries regularly attending EBCE.
Pastor J.D. is a native of Venezuela, and he was serving in ministry at a local church there until he and his wife Andreina moved to Canada in 2012. Upon their arrival in Toronto, the Fasolinos began attending Emmanuel Baptist Church Toronto. J.D. became a church planter apprentice while serving at EBCT. In 2015, he began to lead a small Bible study group that met in Ajax, Ontario (30 minutes east of Toronto). Early in 2016, that group began to meet on Sundays, and on April 9, 2016, 30 people were present at the launch service of Emmanuel Baptist Church East.

“We don't go out to evangelize, we evangelize every time we go out.”
HOW CAN YOU PRAY?
That God would continue to bless their efforts to reach Toronto-area Hispanics with the gospel
That leaders would be identified and developed – some to stay at EBCE & some to go out as planters and/or members of churches that are being started through EBCE
That God would make every provision for Pastor J.D. and his family as he and Andreina continue to lead the church
That God would give favor and blessing to Pastor Francisco as he prepares to plant another Hispanic church (Faith Emmanuel Baptist Church), east of where EBCE is currently meeting
That the original vision of Emmanuel Baptist Church Toronto to plant 20 Hispanic churches by 2020 would be met – to the praise and glory of God
